Fitness festivities

Fort Recovery Middle School held a rally Thursday to celebrate the completion of a 14-day successful "Live It" program that encouraged walking with the use of pedometers. Staff and students walked the equivalent of around the world two and a half times - a total of 99,130,029 steps or 49,639 miles. School treasurer Lori Koch walked the furthest by marking 127 miles. Above, Dr. Ed Hosbach discusses the health benefits achieved by the walkers.
