The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Cyril Seger
Cyril Henry Seger, 80, of Willman St., Fort Loramie, died at 10:25 a.m. Oct. 17, 2006, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster.
He was born Feb. 19, 1926, in Fort Loramie, to Anthony J. and Pauline M. Ernst Seger. On Nov. 7, 1953, he married Evelyn C. Frankenberg Seger, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Paul (Teresa), Eric (Connie) and David (Pam), all of Fort Loramie, and Bernard (Darlene), Sidney; two daughters, Peggy (Wilson) Monnin, Sidney, and Anita (Jeff) Schwartz, Fort Loramie; two sisters, Vera (Tom) Schwartz, Fort Loramie, and Velma (Jack) Friemering, Celina; a sister-in-law, Shirley, Fort Loramie; 17 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Deceased are a brother, Walter; a sister, Rita Zavislan; and a brother-in-law, Tom Zavislan.
He retired in 1969 from the Fort Loramie Post Office, where he was a rural route mail carrier, and had worked at Ferguson Construction until 1960. He was a village of Fort Loramie zoning enforcement officer; zoning officer for McLean Township; and part-owner of White Oak Lake. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the 102nd Infantry during World War II. He was a 1944 graduate of Fort Loramie High School and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, where he previously served on the buildings and grounds committee and hall board.
He also was a member of American Legion Post 355, Fort Loramie, where he served on the Firing Squad, was a past commander and a chicken fryer for 37 years.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with full military honors by the American Legion.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Gehret Funeral Home, Fort Loramie.
Contributions can be made to the Fort Loramie Rescue Squad, Fort Loramie Fire Department and Wilson Hospice Care.
