Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Carl Friedly
Carl R. Friedly, 85, 7395 Hellwarth Road, Celina, died at 4 p.m. Nov. 2, 2006, at his residence, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
He was born April 19, 1921, in Coldwater, Mich., to Adolph and Eva Mentzer Friedly. He married Mary E. Allen, who is deceased.
Survivors are a daughter, Nancy Ann (Dennis) Dunlap, Celina; a sister, Charlette (Kennith) Gannon, Coldwater, Mich.; four grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He retired from the former New Idea plant in Coldwater, and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Celina Baptist Temple.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Cliff Rice officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
