Betty Krick
Betty A. Krick, 57, 5304 U.S. 127, Celina, died at 8:30 p.m. Nov. 6, 2006, at her residence. Death was due to natural causes.
She was born Dec. 25, 1948, in Hazen, N.D., to Willis and Edna McBride Karges. Her father survives in Van Wert. On June 10, 1972, she married Martin D. Krick, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Cory (Sara M.), Celina; a daughter, Sara Ann, Mansfield; three brothers, Paul (Paula) Karges, of Pennsylvania, Edward (Claudia) Karges, Van Wert, and Wayne (Kathy) Karges, Convoy; two sisters, Susan (Lynn) Ealing, Bluffton, Ind., and Ruby (Brian) VanDerArk, Caledonia, Mich.; and a granddaughter.
Deceased are a son, Alyn C.; and stepmother, Martha Karges.
She retired from J.C. Penny Co. Inc., after 30 years of service as a sales clerk at the former Celina store and the current St. Marys store. She was a member of Celina First Church of God, where she taught Sunday school classes for preschoolers for 25 years.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Bruce Strine officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Contributions can be made to Celina Area Visiting Nurses and Hospice or the church.
