Robert Bay
Robert P. Bay, 75, 111 W. Plum St., New Bremen, died in the early morning of Nov. 9, 2006, at his residence.
He was born June 25, 1931, in New London, to Clifford and Margret Irene Powell Bay. In 1957, he married Joan Irwin, who died in 1968. On Oct. 25, 1969, he married Gwendolyn Hines, who survives in New Bremen.
Also surviving are two sons, Michael, New Bremen, and Christopher (Vicki), Xenia; two daughters, Amy (Jerry) Holman, Sidney, and Lee Ann (Steve) Geisler, Vandalia; and five grandchildren.
Deceased is a twin brother, James, who died in infancy.
He retired in 1998 from the former Stamco plant, New Bremen. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the medical corp as an X-ray technician.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Contributions can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or the Lupus Foundation.
Arrangements are by Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen.
