Celina firefighters approach an overturned SUV following an accident at 4:16 p.m. Nov. 9 in the 1900 block of Havemann Road. Barbara E. Lutz, 54, 301 S. Main St., Mendon, the SUV driver, was taken by ambulance to Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. The accident occurred when Edith M. Gillespie, 83, 415 E. Fulton St., Celina, pulled her car from a stop sign and struck the eastbound vehicle. Celina Police cited Gillespie for failure to yield from a private drive. Both heavily-damaged vehicles were towed from the scene.
