Donald Peggs
Donald Edward Peggs, 62, 43 S. High St., Montezuma, died at 10:17 p.m. Nov. 27, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Death was due to cancer.
He was born Sept. 25, 1944, in Celina, to Herman and Rose E. Donovan Peggs.
Survivors are three brothers, Larry (Rebecca), Celina, David, Montezuma, and Billy (Linda), Bedford, Texas; four sisters, Mary Ann Short, Reading, Pa., Cathy (Charles) Chaney, St. Marys, Nancy Fowler, Celina, and Sue, Montezuma; and a brother-in-law, Charles Makley, Wapakoneta.
Deceased are a brother, Dale, two sisters, Martha Jean Werling and Sharon Makley, and a brother-in-law, John Short.
He worked at the former New Idea plant in Coldwater for 37 years and was a 1963 graduate of Celina High School. He was a member of the Montezuma Church of Christ and Ducks Unlimited.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Paul Werling officiating. Burial will follow in Burge Cemetery, Montezuma.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to the Mercer or Auglaize County Cancer Associations.
