* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following county, in west central Ohio, Mercer.
* WHEN...Until 400 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1253 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Tama and Neptune.

Charles Bowers
Charles H. Bowers, 69, of Middle Point, died at 8:25 p.m. Dec. 5, 2006, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 3, 1937, in Van Wert County, to Donald and Della McGinnis Bowers. On Feb. 14, 1994, he married Dianna Smith Daniels, who survives in Delphos.
Also surviving are two sons, William A., Middle Point, and Donald C. (Tina), St. Marys; a daughter, Patricia S., of Scott; two brothers, Larry (Carla), Montezuma, and Kent (Paula), Van Wert; three sisters, Janet (Joe) Hertel, Van Wert, Linda (Carl) Girod, of Florida, and Nancy (Larry) Black, Middle Point; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He retired from Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 166 and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 471, Delphos.
A memorial service is 1 p.m. Saturday at his farm near Middle Point.
