Hazel Floyd
Hazel B. Floyd, 97, 6864 state Route 219, Celina, died at 2 p.m. Dec. 8, 2006, at Celina Manor.
She was born Sept. 25, 1909, in Dotsontown, Tenn., to George R. and Emma Florence Fann Speer. On Aug. 10, 1929, she married Willie Cortez Floyd, who died Oct. 1, 1961.
Survivors are a son, Willie M. (Margaret), Ansonia; a daughter, Barbara Scott, Celina; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Everett Franklin Speer; a son-in-law, George Scott and a grandson.
She retired after 25 years of service at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, St. Marys, and was a member of Coldwater United Methodist Church.
Services were 10:30 a.m. today at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Allan Brown officiated. Burial followed in Burdge Cemetery, Montezuma.
Calling was Sunday at the funeral home.
