* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Christopher Sommers
Christopher C. Sommers, 22, died Dec. 8, 2006, in a single car crash in Mokena, Ill.
He was born Oct. 6, 1984, in Wichita, Kan., to Scott and Robin Sommers, who survive in New Lenox, Ill.
Also surviving is a sister, Jamie, who attends the University of Southern Illinois, Carbondale; and four grandparents, Clifford and Nancy, Waterloo, Ind., and Kenneth and Gaynell Vorhees, Vermilion.
He was a petty officer third class serving in the U.S. Coast Guard and stationed in Chicago, Ill.
Services were Dec. 12, 2006, at the United Methodist Church, New Lenox. Burial with full military honors was Dec. 13, 2006, at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Members of the U.S. Coast Guard served as pallbearers.
Arrangements were by Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox.
