Special Weather Statement issued December 10 at 6:57PM EST by NWS Wilmington OH (details ...)
Periods of light snow along with scattered snow showers will continue through the overnight and into Thursday morning. Accumulations are expected to be light, however, with dropping temperatures, slick spots will be possible for the Thursday morning commute. Some snow showers may produce a quick few tenths to a half inch of accumulation, which would increase the potential for slick spots in localized areas. If traveling, use caution, as road conditions could quickly change across short distances and on elevated surfaces like bridges and overpasses.

Coldwater resident Viola Bruns finishes another comforter bound for the homeless. Bruns, who is legally blind due to macular degeneration, uses the adaptive device in the background in order to thread needles and other close work. Area residents donate fabric remnants, drapery and slipcovers for her ambitious project.
