Roselyn Hartings-Reindl
Roselyn Hartings-Reindl, 82, of St. Marys, died Jan. 6, 2007, at Otterbein Nursing Home, St. Marys.
She was born Jan. 14, 1924, in Liberty Center, to O.R. and Anna Mae Wolfe Minnich. On July 17, 1943, she married John F. Hartings, who died May 28, 1992. On June 5, 1993, she married Harold Reindl, who died July 19, 2001.
Survivors are two sons, Frank (Angela) Hartings, Sherrills Ford, N.C., and John J. (Joan) Hartings, Waterville; a stepson, Tom (Ginny) Reindl, Wellsboro, Pa.; two daughters, Julia (Steve) Drees, Minster, and Nancy Spoltman, Celina; a stepdaughter, Susie (Joe) Schickel, Loveland; a sister, Norma Miller, Liberty Center; a stepdaughter-in-law, Cindy Reindl, Bryan; 13 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; nine stepgrandchildren and a stepgreat-grandchild.
Deceased are three brothers, Melvin, Marion and Orville Minnich; two sisters, Doris Stratton and Annabelle Pence; and nine infant brothers and sisters.
She worked at the switchboard of Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater, and was the office manager of the former Heritage Cable, Celina. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and its ladies rosary altar sodality; St. Cecelia Knights of St. John; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5135 Auxiliary and Phi Beta Psi Sorority, all of Coldwater. She was a past member and past president of the library board.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Ronald Wilker officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
