Bernard "Bernie" Osterloh, 50, of New Bremen, died Jan. 12, 2007, at his residence after a year long illness.
He was born June 1, 1956, in Coldwater, to Othmar and Jovita Bertke Osterloh, Rossburg. On Jan. 18, 1980, he married Linda Grieshop Osterloh, New Bremen.
Also surviving are a son, Chris (DeAnna), Maria Stein; a daughter, Tina (Mark) Gerding, Ottawa; four brothers, Tim (Linda), Minster, Luke (Sharon), Versailles, Mike (Janice), Rossburg, and Joe (Brenda), Burkettsville; two sisters, Marlene (Ron) Pohl, Coldwater, and Deb (Dale) Albers, Maria Stein; a father- and mother-in-law, Louis and Mary Ann Grieshop, Versailles; and two grandchildren.
He worked in the shop at Precision Strip, Minster; maintenance at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater; was a turkey farmer and construction worker. He was a member of the Lima Seventh Day Adventists Church where he was a deacon.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Faith Alliance Church, New Bremen, the Rev. Don Byard officiating. Burial will be at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday and 9-9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
