Agnes Homan
Agnes Elizabeth Homan, 96, formerly of East College Street, Coldwater, died at 7:50 p.m. Jan. 30, 2007, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
She was born July 17, 1910, in Coldwater, to Frank and Philomena Kessens Homan.
Surviving are two brothers, Leonard (Mildred), Coldwater, and Herbert, Celina; two sisters, Mary Ann Gerlach, Celina, and Clara Hess, Coldwater; and two sisters-in-law, Irene Homan, Coldwater, and Charlene (Lavern) Schmit, Montezuma.
Deceased are three brothers, Edward, Al and Werner; three sisters, Emma Retzner, Catherine Bergman and Dorothy Benoit; three brothers-in-law, Edwin Retzner, Mike Bergman and John Benoit; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy.
She retired from the offices of the Cincinnati Board of Education. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, its ladies rosary altar sodality and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3025 Auxiliary, all of Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Ronald Wilker officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
