* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of high heat and humidity can be especially hazardous as warm overnight temperatures will provide little relief.

At 448 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Kalida to near Sidney, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Sidney, Bellefontaine, Wapakoneta, Ada, Fort Shawnee, Cridersville, West Liberty, Anna, Jackson Center, Russells Point, De Graff, Botkins, Lakeview, Alger, Waynesfield, Belle Center, Chippewa Park, Northwood, Roundhead, and Quincy.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 86 and 118.

Paul Schroer
Paul J. "Joe" Schroer, 83, 210 Wagoner St., Fort Recovery, died at 6:40 p.m. Feb. 20, 2007, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 12, 1924, in St. Anthony, to August and Emma Weigel Schroer. On Sept. 27, 1947, he married Rita Lange, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Michael (Cheryl), Laceys Spring, Ala., and Robert (Karen) and David (Theresa), all of Fort Recovery; six daughters, Judy (Tom) Lefeld and Joan (Ted) Stachler, all of St. Henry, Suzanne (Steve) Turner, Kettering, Bonnie (Chet) Rhoades, Dayton, Sharon (Bruce) Scott, Fort Recovery, and Marjorie, Garland, Texas; a brother, Maurice, Coldwater, 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Mary Alice; a sister, Alice; a sister-in-law, Irma; and a granddaughter.
He retired from Sheller-Globe, Portland, Ind. He was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, American Legion Post 345 and Progressive Sportsman Club, all of Fort Recovery, and Vintage Motor Bike Club, Portland.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Recovery, with graveside military honors conducted by American Legion Post 345.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
