Special Weather Statement issued January 27 at 8:22AM EST by NWS Wilmington OH (details ...)
Gusty southwest winds will become westerly this afternoon. The strong winds and the recently fallen snow is resulting in some blowing and drifting snow, especially across rural and open areas. This may result in rapid changes in road conditions over short distances. Motorists should exercise extra caution.

On the way out

Demolition of the parking deck adjacent to the St. Marys City Utility Office on East Spring Street began earlier this week. The 40-year-old structure was showing wear and tear and had been closed for more than a year. The project, which also butts up to the newly uncovered Miami & Erie Canal lock 13, is expected to be completed sometime this fall. The demolition is being done by VTF Excavation of Celina for about $13,000.
