Hair Works new owner

A longtime Celina beauty shop has a new owner and a new name. Heather Porter, Celina, has bought Judy's House of Hair Design from her mother, Judy Martin, who has operated the business for more than 31 years. On March 5, the business' name changed to Hair Works. It is located at 930 N. Main Street. Martin, who will continue to work as a hairdresser at the business, has been a hairdresser for many years and has owned several other salons in the past. Services the business offers include hair cutting and styling, hair coloring, foiling and perming, and waxing. The shop also carries a large line of hair products. Currently the business has five employees, including Martin and Porter, and plan to add two more to the staff.
