Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

National efforts to address the question of whether or not to add seat belts in school buses has been stepped up following the recent charter bus crash in Atlanta. Local transportation administrators see many problems involved in belting up their students.
