Former Mercer County resident, Martha L. Young, 64, Schweitzer Road, Greenville, died March 11, 2007, in Greenville due to an automobile accident.

She was born Oct. 4, 1942, in Frenchtown, to Ferd and Viola Berning Bruns. On Feb. 27, 1960, she married Stephen M. Young, who died Jan. 16, 1999.

Surviving are five sons, Rick (Karen), Portland, Ind., Ron (Brenda) and Steve (Nora), all of Montezuma, Don, Greenville, and Randy (Lynn), Rockford; a daughter, Brenda (James) Frank, Coldwater; four brothers, Robert (Martha) Bruns, Rockford, William Bruns, Decatur, Ind., Michael Bruns, Warren, Mich., and Thomas Bruns, Elida; seven sisters, Thelma (Carl) Grilliot, West Palm Beach, Fl., Wilma (Dale) Quellhorst, St. Marys, Clara Beougher, Rockford, and Millie (Paul) Donovan, Marie (Bill) Hornburger, Vicki Giere and Darlene Thees, all of Celina; 10 grandchildren, four step grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren.

Deceased are two brothers, John and Don; two sisters, Helen Pearson and Ruth McMahan and two grandchildren.

She worked at the former Huffy Bicycle Corp., Celina, and Teleflex, Van Wert, and was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 210, Celina.

Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, the Rev. Daniel Schmitmeyer officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
