Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Dane Goettemoeller of Maria Stein attempts to write numbers under the watchful eye of Jaclyn Mumaw during preschool screening Monday afternoon in Chickasaw. The process, which checks vision and hearing acuity, fine motor coordination, speech and language development, perception and visual and auditory memory, picks up any problems that need to be addressed. The screening was held for the Marion Local school district.
