* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Occasional wind gusts of 35 to 45 mph are expected today.
Winds will mainly be out of the south early this morning, before switching to the west during the late morning and early afternoon.

Hair raising day

Logan Tingley, left, and Brianna Hawkins, aren't trying out new hairstyles. The fourth-graders at Immaculate Conception School in Celina participated in "bad hair day," on Wednesday, one of several activities held for Right to Read Week at the school. Students were challenged to read for a combined 8,000 minutes this week and had tallied more than 7,000 minutes by midweek.
