Light snow will overspread the area from the northwest this morning. An increased coverage of snow showers is expected to develop this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust up to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible in areas where heavier snow bands develop this afternoon into early evening.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Patricia Walter
Patricia Walter, 54, of 319 Mill St., Celina, died at 8:45 p.m. April 1, 2007, at her residence due to natural causes.
She was born March 6, 1953, in Celina, to Walter and Christena Houston Griner. On Dec. 5, 1975, she married Jerry Walter, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Jeremy, Celina; three daughters, Terri and Angie (Jason) Springer, all of Celina, and Jeri (Stewart) Shipman, Park Hills, Mo.; three brothers, Bill (Bernita) Griner, Decatur, Ind., and Glenn (Jane) Griner and Ed (Ellen) Griner, all of Rockford; two sisters, Connie (Joe) Tebbe and Mary (Pat) Browder, Celina; a brother-in-law, Dave Francis, New Madison, and seven grandchildren.
Deceased are three sisters and a granddaughter.
She worked at Honda in Anna and had worked at the former Huffy Biycycle Corp., Celina. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina.
Funeral Mass is 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Brenberger officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
