James Drummond
James "Bulldog" Drummond, 66, 330 N. Lynn St., St. Marys, died at 5:15 a.m. April 21, 2007, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. Death was due to an extended illness.
He was born Jan. 23, 1941, in Celina, to Willard and Marjorie Drummond. His mother survives in St. Marys. On Nov. 19, 1976, he married Anna Huff Slone, who survives.
Also surviving are six sons, Larry (Edna) Slone and David (Tamie), all of Wapakoneta, Ronnie (Bonnie) Slone, Terry (Marilyn) Slone and Art (Jan) Slone Jr., all of St. Marys, and Duane (Kathy), Goodyear, Ariz.; a daughter, Dawn (Chad) Hennon, St. Marys; a brother, Bill (Paula), St. Marys; a sister, Dorothy Daniels, St. Marys; 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Brenda Richardson.
He retired after 30 years from the former Mersman Furniture Co., Celina, and was a member of First Wesleyan Church, St. Marys.
Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Ron Lambert officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
