Snow showers will continue this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust from 20 to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of one-half inch to 2 inches. Visibility will be restricted at times in the heavier showers.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Raymond Mosier
Raymond E. Mosier, 87, of rural Middle Point, died at 11:10 a.m. May 7, 2007, at his residence.
He was born July 17, 1919, in rural Middle Point to Arley and Minnie Poling Mosier. On Jan. 5, 1941, he married Helen A. Glander.
Surviving are a son, Jerry (Mary), Middle Point; two daughters, Marybelle (Dwight) Cooper, Lawrence, Kan., and Sallyanne (Peter) Calvert, Celina; two sisters, Lou Engeberg, Los Angeles, Calif., and Emma Schwarz, Downey, Calif; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Deceased are two brothers, Ralph and Arthur; five sisters, Lela, in infancy, Opal Mosier, Hazel DeCamp, Bertie Riley and Lillie Knies.
He was a farmer, a self-employed mechanic and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving from 1941 to 1945 and attaining the rank ofsergeant.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Peter Calvert officiating. Burial is at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Van Wert, where military rites will be performed.
Calling is 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
