Minster resident Tommy Tompkins checks out a hatch on the replica of the Erie Isle, a ferry that linked Put-in-Bay and Port Clinton in the 1950s and early 1960s. The retired engineer, who worked on the ambitious project for several years, plans to donate it to a Lake Erie museum.
