Celina Police Chief Dave Slusser talks with some of the 400 youths attending the department's ninth annual Ultimate After School Party on Tuesday afternoon at Lake Shore Park. Celina High School graduate and band member Marilyn Barrett won a black Ford Escort Sport donated by Kerns Auto Group of Celina and St. Marys in conjunction with the What's Holding You Back seatbelt campaign. With temperatures in the 80s, a water cannon and 20,000 water balloons drew plenty of interest as did pizza and soft drinks. Celina firefighters also were on hand during the two-hour event.
