Aubry Norton
Former Celina resident Aubry Roy Norton, 57, of Beaumont, Texas, died at 1:24 p.m. June 4, 2007, in Piqua. An autopsy will be performed to determine for cause of death.
He was born Dec. 4, 1949, in Vellice, Tenn., to Roy Kenneth and Lillian Christine Presley Norton.
Surviving are two brothers, Ronnie (Jayne), Celina, and Mark, St. Marys; and five sisters, Gennetta Cook, Lima, Lois (William) Preston, Piqua, June (Don) Bricker, Celina, Wanda (Larry) McNaughton, Florence, Ky., and Poinsetta (Rick) Guidry, Altanta, Ga.
Deceased is a brother, Johnny Allen.
He worked as an offshore mud logger in Texas. He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam War, and a member of the America Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Beaumont.
Services are 7 p.m. Friday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Rick Brosher officiating. Burial is at a later date at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
