* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1045 PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 421 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area, with numerous roads remaining closed due to high water. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

Jessie Crider
Jessie Lee Crider, 86, 7691 state Route 117, Mendon, died at 8:39 a.m. June 15, 2007, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born May 7, 1921, in Mendon, to Eber and Eva Hickernell Nelson. On April 13, 1940, she married Carl William Crider, who died Oct. 6, 1976.
Surviving are three sons, David (Judy), Mendon, Richard, Van Wert, and Robert (Deb), Delphos; three daughters, Carol (Willis) Watts, Marion, Linda Burden, Venedocia, and Peg (Rick) Hesse, Mendon; 23 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Sally Lynn Crider Miller; an infant son; two infant daughters; two brothers, Dean and Don Nelson; four sisters, Winifred Nelson, Hollis Wurth, Rowena Beam and Helen Dorsey; a son-in-law, John Burden; and a great-grandson.
She was a homemaker and had worked at the former Huffy Bicycle Corp., Celina. A 1939 graduate of the former Mendon-Union High School, she was a member of Mendon United Methodist Church.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Mendon, the Rev. Michael Berne officiating. Burial is at Wright Cemetery, Jennings Township, Van Wert County.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
