Jimmie Daugherty
Jimmie Wendell Daugherty, 66, of Monterey Drive, Fort Loramie, died at 11:17 p.m. June 16, 2007, at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney.
He was born July 16, 1940, in Freeburn, Ky., to Julius and Bertha Dotson Daugherty. On June 7, 1960, he married J. Ernestine Layne, who survives.
Other survivors are a daughter, Jo (David) Hall, Sidney; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He retired in 2002 as a machinist at Parker-Hannifin, St. Marys. He was a 1958 graduate of Phelps High School and attended Pikeville College, both in Kentucky.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Contributions can be made to the Wilson Memorial Cardio Pulmonary Rehabilitation Unit, Sidney.
