An Arctic front will sweep east across the region between 5 AM and 9 AM. A few hours of snow showers and west wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph will occur with the frontal passage. While any accumulations will generally be a half inch or less, some challenging travel conditions may develop given, rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities, strong wind and cold temperatures. These conditions will impact the morning commute. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

Cletus Homan
Cletus Henry Homan, 87, 909 Emerald Drive, Coldwater, died at 4:15 p.m. June 21, 2007, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home.
He was born Dec. 24, 1919, in Philothea, to Joseph and Mary Osterholt Homan. On May 14, 1946, he married Viola Mary, who died Jan. 13, 1984. On May 17, 1986, he married Lillian Will Gaerke, who survives at the residence.
Other survivors are three sons, David (Joan), Hoagland, Ind., Alvin (Eileen), Minster, and Gary (Jane), St. Henry; two daughters, Laura (Thomas) Behr, Sidney, and Sandra (Richard) Clune, Celina; three sisters, Anna Evers, St. Henry, and Juletta (Linus) Huelskamp and Cleopha (Aloys) Link, all of Fort Recovery; six stepsons, Gary Gaerke, David (Cynthia) Gaerke, Terry (Phyllis) Gaerke, and Leonard (Lucy) Gaerke, all of Coldwater, Dennis (Andrea) Gaerke, Waterford, Mich., and Nicolas (Janice) Gaerke, Centerville; two stepdaughters, Linda (Allen) Lefeld, Coldwater, and Marlene (James) Balster, St. Henry; two sisters-in-law, Marcella, St. Henry, and Dolores, McCartyville; 15 grandchildren, 23 stepgrandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and nine stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Arnold and Paul; a sister-in-law, Irene; a brother-in-law, Florence Evers; and a stepdaughter, Lou Ann Gaerke.
He was a farmer and member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, where he was a deacon. He also was a member of St. Gasper Del Buffalo 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Minster, the Holy Name Society of St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea, a CCD teacher and church lector, and a Eucharist minister at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater. He also was a member of the Mercer County Farm Bureau where he served as a youth counselor,
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Coldwater church, the Rev. Ron Will officiating. Burial is at the Philothea church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
