Learning where the wires go
Photo by Janie Southard/The Daily Standard

Norman Leugers, Project Lead the Way instructor at Fort Recovery School District, recently conducted an engineering camp at the school, sponsored by a grant from the Society of Mechanical Engineers. Using CAD and other engineering methods, students created mechanical vehicles that they later raced. Project Lead the Way is a multi-year sequence of pre-engineered courses. Fort Recovery and St. Henry are the only local districts in the project. Above Josh Wendel, 11, takes a look at his mechanical auto.
