Evenelle Compson
Evenelle Compson, 81, 518 Hierholzer St., Celina, died at 3:53 p.m. July 23, 2007, at her residence.
She was born July 16, 1926, in Mercer County, to Lee Anthony and Martha Irene Runkel Hare. On April 1, 1945, she married Malone H. Compson, who died Nov. 8, 1977.
Surviving are a son, Harold (Margie), Celina; a daughter, Deborah Reish, Ossian, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Wanda Hare, St. Joe, Mich.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Martha Darlene; and a brother, Forrest "Gene" Hare.
She was a homemaker and worked at Reynolds & Reynolds and the former Total Care Nursing Home, both of Celina. She was a member of Celina First Church of God.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Roy Hall officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
