The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

William O'Neill
Former St. Charles Center resident William L. O'Neill, 81, of St. Paul, Minn., died on July 23, 2007, at his residence. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born July 10, 1926, in Janesville, Wis., to William and Marie McDonald O'Neill.
Suriviving are three brothers, John (Dorothy), Dubuque, Iowa, Robert (Agnes), Janesville, and Gerald (Carol), Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.; and two sisters, Marietta (Bill) Halpin, Praire du Chien, Wis., and Catherine, Lacross, Wis.
Deceased are a brother, Thomas; and three sisters, Margaret Franfelder, Eileen Casey and Genevieve Austin.
He entered the Precious Blood Society in 1940 and was ordained on May 18, 1952. He served at parishes in Columbus and St. Paul, Minn. He joined the U.S. Air Force as a chaplain in 1956, serving at bases in the United States and overseas, and in 1960 returned to graduate school to become a teacher. From 1965 to 1974 he taught at St. Joseph's College, Rensselaer, Ind., and Calumet College of St. Joseph, Whiting, Ind. He retired to St. Charles Center, Carthagena, in 2002 and returned to St. Paul in 2005.
Funeral Mass was held today in the chapel at St. Thomas College, St. Paul. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Center, Carthagena, with burial at the community cemetery.
