Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning.
If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.

Larry Kill, chair of the Auglaize County Fair horticulture committee for the past 17 years, takes a look at a jar of pickled asparagus. Kill typically processes thousands of entry tickets for the baked goods, canned goods, vegetable, fruit and flower entries each year.
