Ruth L. Kruse, 82, 1025 W. Spring St., St. Marys, died at 7:20 a.m. Sept. 9, 2007, at Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys.

She was born Aug. 31, 1925, in Auglaize County, to Lewis and Sarah Buddemeyer Wibbeler. On Dec. 18, 1943, she married Bernard C. Kruse, who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Lynn Bernard (Mary Jane), Coldwater, and Andy (Kathy) and Don (Peggy), all of St. Marys; a daughter, Linda Temple, St. Marys; a sister, Esther Vogal, of Virginia; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Deceased are three brothers, Henry, Leroy and Walter Wibbeler; and two sisters, Selma Settlage and Emma Rehn.

She retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, St. Marys, after 40 years of service. She was a 1943 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School and member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moulton.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Joy Miller officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Cisco Funeral Home, St. Marys, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
