Special Weather Statement issued December 10 at 6:57PM EST by NWS Wilmington OH (details ...)
Periods of light snow along with scattered snow showers will continue through the overnight and into Thursday morning. Accumulations are expected to be light, however, with dropping temperatures, slick spots will be possible for the Thursday morning commute. Some snow showers may produce a quick few tenths to a half inch of accumulation, which would increase the potential for slick spots in localized areas. If traveling, use caution, as road conditions could quickly change across short distances and on elevated surfaces like bridges and overpasses.

Paving the way
Photo by Mark Pummell/The Daily Standard

Paving crews add a layer of new asphalt to state Route 703 just north of the intersection of state Route 219 in Montezuma on Tuesday afternoon. The paving is being done by VTF Excavation and funded through a $260,000 Ohio Department of Transportation grant. The work also includes curbing and sidewalks.
