* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Snow melt and refreezing overnight has resulted in the development of black ice on roads.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Irene Homan
Irene Homan, 91, formerly of Younger Road, Coldwater, died at 8:10 a.m. Nov. 1, 2007, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
She was born Jan. 25, 1916, in Hoagland, Ind., to Bernard and Agnes Hoevel Hake. On May 18, 1946, she married Al Homan, who died April 16, 1994.
Surviving are a son, Hubert (Jean), Coldwater; five daughters, Marcile (David) Schmiesing, Minster, Georgene (Dan) Post, Fort Recovery, Helene (Steve) Eilerman, New Bremen; Roslyn Bruns, Maria Stein, and Germaine, Celina; a sister, Gertrude Wyss, Fort Wayne, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Colleen Boyd, Hamilton Lake, Ind.; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sons, John and Joseph; two brothers, Clarence and Norbert Hake; a sister, Esther Hake; and a grandchild.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and its Ladies Rosary Altar Sodality.
Funeral Mass is 11:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Daniel Schmitmeyer officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday and 10:30-11 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
