Richard Burger
Former Mendon resident Richard "Dick" Burger, 79, of Oakhurst, Calif., died Nov. 14, 2007, in Oakhurst.
He was born Oct. 25, 1928, in Mendon, to Waldo and Neola Clay Burger. On Dec. 27, 1986, he married Skye, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Greg, San Diego, Calif.; a daughter, Cindy, San Rafael, Calif.; a brother, Derl, Celina; and a sister, Patty Fox, Fairfield.
He was an iron worker in the San Francisco Bay area and Southern California. He also was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Oakhurst. His body will be cremated.
Arrangements are being handled by Wild Rose Funeral Home, Fresno, Calif.
