William Braun Sr.
William Louis Braun Sr., 75, 4475 St. Peter Road, Fort Recovery, died at 10:45 a.m. Nov. 19, 2007, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
He was born June 13, 1932, in Fort Recovery, to Ferd and Monna L. Denney Braun. On Oct. 11, 1952, he married Pauline M. Fisher, who died June 13, 2007.
Surviving are four sons, William Jr. and Doug (Tina), all of Celina, Paul, Fort Recovery, and Craig, of Darke County; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Merle, Dennis and Jackie; and a sister, Charlotte Hennessey.
He worked at the former Mersman Table company, Huffy Bicycle Corp. and Kessler Builders, all of Celina, and Coldwater Lumber Co. A graduate of Coldwater High School, he was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joe, the Rev. Charles Mullen officiating. Burial is at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.
Calling is 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina.
Contributions can be made for Masses at St. Peter Church.
