M. Roberta Martin
M. Roberta Martin, 89, of Rockford, died Nov. 26, 2007, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born Jan. 28, 1918, in Friendship, N.Y., to Robert and Cecelia Gillman Wilson. In 1932, she married Williard Martin, who is deceased.
Surviving are a son, Fred Lane, Rockford; four daughters, Julia Ann Eastman and Barbara Thompson, both of Rockford, Cecelia Ralston, Ohio City, and Mary Peters, Helena, Ga.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Robert; and two brothers, Earl and Rodney Wilson.
She was a cook at the Olean House, Olean, N.Y.
Private graveside services will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, at the convenience of the family.
