Scattered snow showers will continue before ending between 6 AM and 9 AM. A quick few tenths to a half inch of accumulation will be possible, which would increase the potential for slick spots in localized areas. If traveling, use caution, as road conditions could quickly change across short distances and on elevated surfaces like bridges and overpasses.

Lock decorated

Signs of the Christmas season - lighted Nativity scene figures - decorate the recently restored Lock One project in New Bremen. In addition to restoring the historic lock, workmen also dredged nearly 3 feet of muck and silt from the canal and repaired the eroded walls. The original Loramie Summit monument, salvaged from the original lock, remains to be installed.
