* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 12 below zero.
* WHERE...In Indiana, Wayne County. In Ohio, Auglaize, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, and Shelby Counties.
* WHEN...Until noon EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Lock decorated

Signs of the Christmas season - lighted Nativity scene figures - decorate the recently restored Lock One project in New Bremen. In addition to restoring the historic lock, workmen also dredged nearly 3 feet of muck and silt from the canal and repaired the eroded walls. The original Loramie Summit monument, salvaged from the original lock, remains to be installed.
