At 548 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Monroe to near Hartford City, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Celina, Fort Recovery, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chattanooga, and Tama.

J. Vernon Barber
J. Vernon Barber, 90, 9990 Rice Road, Mendon, died Dec. 20, 2007 at Joint Township Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born on May 12, 1917 in Auglaize County to Ernest and Sarah Anna Wharton Barber. On Oct. 16, 1943, he married Dorothy Yewey, who survives in Mendon.
Also surviving are three daughters, Shirley (Steve) Bell, and Marilyn (James) Dwenger, both of Celina, and Joanne (Dan), Lampert, Anna; seven grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Harry E., and a sister, Mary Ellen Adams.
He had retired from Goodyear, St. Marys in 1979 after working as cost accountant. He was a graduate of the former Neptune High and Giffin College, Van Wert.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Robert Loar officiating. Burial is at Hamilton Bethel Cemetery, Mendon.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
