Sister Mary Koesters
Carthagena native Sister Mary Assumpta Koesters, 90, of Dayton, died at 3:15 p.m. Jan. 8, 2008, in the emergency room at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.
She was born Sept. 16, 1917, in Carthagena, to Bernard and Catherine Link Koesters.
She is survived by a foster sister, Pat (Walter) Harlett, St. Henry.
She entered the congregation of the Dominican Sisters of Hope on Sept. 12, 1941, and her final profession of vows was on May 12, 1946.
Burial was at St. Aloysius Cemetery, Carthagena.
Arrangements were handled by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville.
