Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Mary Bensman
Mary R. Bensman, 96, formerly of Celina, died at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 15, 2008, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
She was born June 9, 1911, in Wilmington, to Charles and Ella Cahill Athey. On Feb. 17, 1931, she married Ralph L. Bensman, who died Feb. 28, 1994.
Survivors are a daughter, Dorothy Mader, Coldwater; a daughter-in-law, Virginia Bensman, Fort Mitchell, Ky.; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Charles; a son-in-law, Zane Mader; a brother William Athey; a sister, Hazel George; and twin great-granddaughters.
She was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Conception Church and the Women of the Moose, both of Celina.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 3-7 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
Contributions can be made to a memorial tree and bench in Mary's honor to be built at the new Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
