Leonard Quinter
Leonard J. Quinter, 85, of Riverside, died Feb. 18, 2008, at residence.
He was born Oct. 20, 1922, to Anthony A. and Magdolena Heyne Quinter. On Oct. 20, 1945, he married Velma, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Theodore (Kathy), Farmington Hills, Mich., and Steven (Patricia), Fairborn; a brother, Kenneth (Nancy), Kettering; a sister, Thelma Gebhart, Riverside; a brother-in-law, Tom Allison; a sister-in-law, Betsy; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Leroy, Paul and Wilfred; and four sisters, Rita, Armella, Wilma and Hilda.
He retired after 37 years at Midwest Tool and Engineering, Dayton. He was a founding member of St. Helen Catholic Church, Riverside.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday at the church, following a prayer service at 9:30 a.m. at Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel, Dayton. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery, Dayton.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
