Minster High School senior Regina Slonkosky, left, prepares a ballot for a voter this morning at the Minster Knights of Columbus hall. She and fellow seniors Dan Prenger and Jodie Quinter are among area students working full time at the polls today as part of Ohio's Youth to the Booth program. Educators, like Minster government teacher Austin Kaylor, believe the opportunity gives youth a clear picture of democracy at work. A random check with polling places throughout Mercer and Auglaize counties indicates a large turnout as voters voice their views on who should be the Republican and Democratic candidates for president.
