Fog has developed early this morning in the wake of recent rainfall. Visibility reductions around 1 mile or less are being observed, and some patchy dense fog cannot be ruled out.
When encountering fog, be sure to turn on low beam headlights, slow down, and increase following distance.

Shimmer and shine

Trees glisten in the afternoon sun Wednesday at a farmhouse near Coldwater. Heavy ice on branches and power lines caused outages across the Grand Lake area Tuesday night but did more damage to neighboring counties to the south and southeast.
