John Schnell

John J. Schnell, 63, of Wapakoneta died early March 7, 2008, at his residence. A cause of death was not listed.

He was born July 23, 1944, in Dayton to Ned and Maxine Fortney Schnell, who are deceased. He was formerly married to Vicki Kohler.

Survivors are four sons, John (Diane), Karl (Dawn) and Jeffrey, all of Celina, and Michael Webb of Florida; a daughter, Julie Schnell, Celina; a stepson, James (Karla) Kohler, Coldwater; a stepdaughter, Stacy Kohler, Celina; a brother, Kim, Columbus; two sisters, Penny (Gerard) DeBortoli, Wapakoneta, and Bonnie (Chuck) Watson, Ayersville; and 12 grandchildren.

Deceased are two sons, Jack Schnell and Ben Webb.

He owned and operated a tree service and worked as a carpenter.

Services are 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta. Burial is at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta.

Calling is one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
