Periods of light snow can be expected tonight with some scattered snow showers then lingering into Monday morning. Snow totals of around an inch or less will be possible. Increasing winds later tonight and Monday morning will support blowing snow, primarily in rural areas.
Challenging travel conditions will be possible starting tonight and continuing through the day on Monday. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

A few hours of light snow are expected late this evening, mainly after 8 pm. While accumulations will be light, some challenging travel conditions may develop given the cold temperatures.
Additional snow may linger through Monday morning with accumulations remaining light. However, increasing winds and very cold temperatures will support blowing snow, primarily in rural areas.

* WHEN...From 7 AM Monday to 9 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Robert Thobe
Robert John Thomas Thobe, 57, 1534 Walnut St., Huntington, Ind., died at 6:50 p.m. March 13, 2008, at his residence. Cause of death unavailable.
He was born Sept. 2, 1950, in Mercer County to Victor Herbert and Henrietta Ann Varno Thobe. His father is deceased, and his mother survives in Sidney.
Also surviving are his fiance, Melisse Brosamer, Huntington; a son, Chris R. (Gena), New Bremen; a daughter, Stacey L. (Dale) Storer, Wapakoneta; three brothers, Ed (Brenda), New Bremen, Gary (Carla), Coldwater, and Jack (Donna), New Bremen; three sisters, Bev Sealscott, Celina, Linda (Dennis) Gross, Celina, and Mary (Doug) Hemsworth, Sidney; and two grandchildren.
He was a 1968 graduate of New Bremen High School and worked for Ottenweller, Fort Wayne, Ind., as a press brake operator-supervisor for 16 years. He was past commander of the American Legion and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Eagles Lodge, all of Huntington. He was a Vietnam veteran, having served with the United States Army.
Calling is 10 a.m.-noon Monday at Bailey-Love Mortuary, Huntington. There will not be a funeral service or burial.
