A few hours of light snow are expected late this evening, mainly after 8 pm. While accumulations will be light, some challenging travel conditions may develop given the cold temperatures.
Additional snow may linger through Monday morning with accumulations remaining light. However, increasing winds and very cold temperatures will support blowing snow, primarily in rural areas.
Challenging travel conditions will be possible starting late this evening, continuing through the day on Monday. Use caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

* WHEN...From 7 AM Monday to 9 AM EST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Joanne Peay
Joanne Peay, 90, of Columbus and formerly of Statesville, N.C., and Adrian, Mich., died at 6:30 p.m. March 19, 2008, at New Albany Gardens and Care Center, Columbus.
She was born Jan. 27, 1918, in Maria Stein to Henry and Mary Roetgerman Albers. On June 26, 1946, she married James Andrew Peay, who died Dec. 5, 2002.
Survivors are two sons, Steve, Shasta Lake, Calif., and Christopher (Colleen), Warrensburg, Mo.; five daughters, Diana (Alan) Francoeur, Carmel, Ind., Carol Van Pelt, Geneva, Ill., Susan (Paul) Neagle, Westerville, Pamela (Fred) Brown, Chillicothe, and Jennifer (Mark) Rosseter, Mason, Mich.; and eight grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, Alfred, Edward, John and Herbert Albers; and three sisters, Ida Schaaf, Marcella Burris and Bertha Wright.
She served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps. during World War II, serving tours in Scotland and France. She later worked at Goodwill Industries.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein. Burial is at Adrian, Mich.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
